April showers bring May flowers, and last weekend brought the wedding of Toni and Oliver.  Even the weather cooperated, a promising omen; the skies cleared, and the sun shone through heavy clouds just in time for the start of the day.  While getting ready at Naperville’s Hotel Arista, the groom relaxed in Eco-Chic style while the bride was pampered and had her hair done by her best childhood friend.

Toni is Filipino and Oliver is Chinese-Polish, but they join together in their love of food, fitness, and the Chicago Bulls.  They truly do share life together.  During pictures at the Sugar Toad and Cantigny Park and Golf Course in Wheaton, IL., it was evident that the love shared by this couple was genuine and that they were sharing the day with everyone who mattered most in their lives.

In fact, their first meeting was orchestrated by some of these very friends. Toni, typically more of a club/dance type of girl, was kidnapped by her friend Maria and taken to Crobar where Oliver was hanging out at a birthday party with his friends.  There, in the VIP room, he introduced himself and Toni said “you’re the first person I’ve ever met named Oliver.  I like your name.”  And that’s when their love affair began.
