I am excited to share another favorite from the fall season: Lesley and Nate’s Café Brauer wedding in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Getting ready occurred at the Waldorf Astoria, and the rest of the night was spent under the crystal chandeliers in the Great Hall of Café Brauer which transformed into a luxurious and romantic scene with an abundance of flowers, candles, plush chairs and couches with cushions galore.
Prior to the couple’s Jewish ceremony, the couple and their family members gathered around an ornate Ketubah, a legal document signed in the presence of witnesses, testifying to the groom’s duties and promises for marriage, as well as the bride’s rights and acceptance of the marriage proposal. This was a special moment to document, with both sides of the family coming together to witness this solemn ceremony. The couple’s four children stood with their parents as they took their vows. No doubt this night was a special one for this family and one they will always remember. Enjoy!
