When Jay invited his old friend Rekha to ride with him to attend Homecoming at their Alma Mater, the University of Illinois, it was the beginning of weekend hangouts, a serious relationship, a proposal. Taken on a summer’s evening, their engagement session in Chicago combines two favorites: sunny days and long walks.
We were able to capture images that are classy and timeless, and what can I say about their outfit selections but ah-mazing. A pleasure to work with, they relaxed quickly behind the camera as we moved to several different handpicked locations around the city which allowed us to include both the natural and the iconic, the relaxed and the dramatic. I look forward to documenting their upcoming wedding celebrations at the Chicago Cultural Center.
