These images from Courtney and Jonathan’s wedding at the Chicago History Museum capture an enthusiastic bride and dedicated groom very much in love. Although it was a hot, sunny day, the whole bridal party took it in stride and captured some great images around the city of Chicago. An impromptu stop at the Lyric Opera House turned out to be one of the day’s favorite locations with its pillars and shaded walkway. While the bride and groom took portraits together, the self-proclaimed “best man ever” delivered cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches to thankful bridal party members on the Trolley before we headed over to the ceremony which was beautifully set up on the pavilion in back of the museum.
Tall pillars and a grand staircase made for a stunning entrance by the bride and her father, and the couple took their vows under a custom-made arch with the groom’s father officiating. All of the day’s details were carefully planned and executed – from the cocktail hour to the lavish table decorations to the thoughtful speeches by family and friends. Enjoy!
