Today’s post is a throwback to a wedding documented a while ago at the Aberdeen Manor in Northwest Indiana with Sam & Brent. Relaxed and playful, these two were extremely focused on each other and making memories throughout the day with family and friends. What a supportive group of bridesmaids and groomsmen who gathered with the bride and groom before the ceremony: conversing and cracking jokes. The ladies encircled Sam, helping her prepare for the walk down nature’s aisle and admiring her strapless organza gown with tulle overlay.
As the ceremony time drew closer, I caught Sam peeking out of the window, eagerly watching guests arrive on the lawn below and hoping for a glimpse of the groom (he stayed well-hidden). The ceremony was a touching time for both families as they saw their son and daughter joined in marriage, moms and dads clasping hands, smiling and wiping away tears. The newly married couple exited in a cloud of bubbles and had fun together in their one-on-one photo shoot prior to the reception festivities which included fun traditions such as the “dollar dance” for guests to enjoy and participate in. Big thanks to my friend Matt for the opportunity to work together on this wedding. Enjoy!
