This elegant Acquaviva winery wedding brought together two different cultures for a picturesque summer wedding ceremony in the vineyard. This unique wedding venue allowed Frances, the bride, to have a relaxing getting-ready experience in the on-site bridal suite. Friends and family members, including a cute and curious flower girl, gathered to wish her well and offer prayers for the marriage.
Before walking down the aisle, father and daughter were able to share some final moments and emotions together. Just outside, guests gathered in pristine white chairs juxtaposed against a rustic wooden altar and rows upon rows of vines. “Just wait until you see her,” announced the ring bearer’s sign. When Frances appeared in the distance, Anthony beamed, and both of them couldn’t stop smiling as a teary-eyed father gave her away. The winds swirled as vows were said and the sun shined from above. Outdoor weddings are some of my favorites, but there is a special timelessness and beauty about an outdoor wedding in a vineyard.

After the ceremony, the couple was able to spend time together taking portraits with their bridal party before riding in a horse-drawn carriage to where an elegant reception awaited. Tables adorned with lanterns, crimson peonies, and favors for guests. A wine barrel for guests to sign and write a note to the happy couple. A sweet white cake with the message “Love you to the moon and back.” Every detail was thoughtfully chosen.
Acquaviva winery wedding photos would not be complete without a first dance under a hand-painted entry atrium with guests gathered around and looking through archways. In addition to intimate close-ups during this special time, my favorite move is to take a wide-angle shot so that the intricate artwork can be showcased in a stunning floor-to-ceiling image.
Mr. and Mrs. kicked back at the head table to enjoy the night and festive atmosphere, including award-winning wine and flavors of Italy in mouthwatering cuisine.
By the end of the night, the guests were full. They were happy. They were ready to dance, and didn’t have to be coerced onto their feet. Bride and groom clearly enjoyed this time and participated in the traditional Greek circle dance. Twirling around the floor, with never-ending smiles.
