This Heritage Prairie Farm Wedding with Jessica and Paul started with breakfast for close family members. The bride’s sister, close friends, parents surrounded Jessica as she prepped in the farm house. Opting for an elegant half-updo and goddess-style dress suited her perfectly. As the groom and his brother exchanged jokes and readied themselves downstairs, it was almost time for the first look, but not before Jessica distributed hand-picked gifts to her family members.
Heritage Prairie Farm Wedding: Ceremony & Reception
The groom crafted a beautiful chuppah which would later be decorated with sunflower bouquets by Wallflower Designs. During the heartfelt ceremony, the couple stood in the center, under the chuppah, surrounded on three sides by guests for a wedding in the round.
Couple portraits around the farm put this couple in their element, as you may remember from their Candid Engagement Pictures in Chicago. The relaxed ambiance provided by The Farm moved the day and the guests leisurely toward the reception. They enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on velvet couches set up living-room-style in the middle of the farm lawn before moving into the tent for an awesome Farm dinner and dancing. We snuck away to capture some sunset shots before lively dancing. This is a wedding to we’ll always remember fondly. Enjoy!
